here is a track from my upcoming album.

I will use Bandcamp as a platform to showcase in advance each song before the official release.

I called this new track "Back From The Future" because I composed it last on the album to prove to myself that I am still capable of putting together some house beats, after two years of being completely immersed in downtempo jazz-influenced stuff, and it was literally meant as a "comeback' from where I am now.

then I thought I should release it first to give you a smoother transition into the new horizons of my mind.

by my side is a longtime friend and great musician on saxophone, Sabatino Matteucci.

we have collaborated in the past for the drum’n'bass project The Fast Runna, with which we released on Irma Records in 1998.

in the same year I also took part in Sabatino’s Arancia Meccanica debut album.

we hooked up again in 2018 with the idea of starting a new collaboration, and that’s where we started for the album.

‘Back From The Future’ will be my last house track so far, maybe one day I will return to the 4/4 kick drum style, but I leave any decision open for the future…

meanwhile I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
