This is the first release of a mini series, dedicated to all those 90s digital synthesizers, that I had the pleasure to own and, that characterised early House Music and Techno.
Samples have been realised on the AKAI S1000 sampler and recently adapted to the AKAI MPC5000, so that they’re now compatible with most of the recent MPC models.
Result consists of 543Mb of sounds organised in 221 different Programs and 1826 Samples, classified by categories of sounds and splitted in folders, taken straight from Korg M1 audio output, without passing into any mixer.
Each program contains a minimum of 8 samples, layed down on 4 stereo keygroups, each keygroup containing two different samples, one for the Left channel and one for the Right (early 90s AKAI standard) sampled in High Quality 44.1kHz 16 bit format.
